Riah Ellis
Qualifications:
Riah Ellis, M.S., CCC-SLP, graduated from Scripps College for Women with a double Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Foreign Languages. She is trilingual in English, Spanish, and French, and has studied numerous other languages extensively including Mandarin Chinese and Farsi. With an obvious love for language and the science of language development and social perception, she followed her heart to a bilingual speech-language pathology assistant position in Tucson, Arizona in the Amphitheater School District. Riah recognized immediately that this career field was a perfect fit and decided to pursue speech-language pathology as her life's work. She graduated from the University of Arizona with her Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and began her clinical fellowship with a private company in Tucson focusing on early intervention and bilingual language development. After completing her fellowship, Riah became fully certified and continued working as an in-home speech-language pathologist in Tucson for early intervention, pediatrics, and adult home-health.
Since graduating, Riah has discovered a passion for working with juveniles with Autism Spectrum Disorder by combining well-researched methods for increasing motivation to communicate with "
