Community Service

Speech Therapy Center of Excellence strives to be involved with service projects to benefit the community or people in other parts of the world. Recently, we participated in collecting new shoes for families in Shelby, Mississippi (via Green Valley Christian's mission trip this summer). Presently, we are helping collect new socks for the homeless in Las Vegas to assist Kathie Harrington, SLP meet her "Great Sock Challenge". For the month of November, we will participate in "Operation Christmas Child" and fill shoe boxes with gifts for children in other nations. During the winter months, we will be collecting “gently used” coats for the homeless. Please contact any staff member for information on our community service projects.
